Travel

Getting to Salt Cay is as simple as catching a flight to Providenciales (PLS) via American Airlines, USAirways, Delta, British Air or Air Jamaica. Then it is a short hop on Air Turks and Caicos to Salt Cay.

The island is on the Columbus Passage and goes from a shallow coral reef/sand bar to sheer drop-offs in excess of 3000 feet.

The wall just west of the island is where Humpback Whales migrate January-April to the Silver Banks.

Looking south across the salinas and down Victoria Street to the South District of Salt Cay. The large house is the historic salt baron home called the White House. Bahama Passage was filmed here in 1941.
